Early detection improves outcomes, yet previous risk models consider only baseline risk factors, and do not incorporate a proximate and timely data source: the wound itself. Our solution focuses on predicting and detecting SSIs with an AI-based early warning system and a wearable device for continuous monitoring of patient’s biomarkers around the wound for clinical intervention.
How it Works
1. Wearable Sensor & Digital Health App
Non-invasive wearable sensor collects biomarker and vital signs data continuously from the patient. Data is transmitted to Electronic Health Record (EHR) system through a digital health app.
2. Integration to Patient EHR
Secure flow of biomarker and vital signs data to existingEHR systems using open standard communication.
3. Detect and Predict SSIs
Algorithms to detect and predict likelihood of SSIs and provide actionable intelligence through Crely platformor through existing EHR systems.
4. Clinical Decision/Intervention
Clinical decision/intervention based on early warning information. Ability to review prior cases of similar risk profile, consult with peers on Crely platform and send feedback to patient through digital health app.
